Every arm undergoes rigorous independent third-party testing by DEKRA Exam GmbH (Notified Body 0158), a German UKAS-verified inspection body, providing objective verification that systems perform as specified when workers’ lives depend on them.
Manufactured in our EN 1090:2018 certified facility with ISO 9001:2015 quality management, full material traceability, documented weld procedure specifications, and coded welders qualified to EN ISO 9606-1. Project-specific structural calculations, installation certificates, material certificates, DEKRA test reports and compliance documentation are provided as standard, ensuring complete audit trails for health and safety compliance and CDM requirements.

DavitPro Arm Frequently Asked Questions
DavitPro arms are available in 1.2m, 1.5m, and 1.8m lengths, with custom options available on request. All lengths maintain the same certified load capacity. Our team can help you select the correct reach for your façade or roof layout.
DavitPro Arms are designed for use with DavitPro Base sockets. While dimensions follow industry standards, compatibility with third-party systems cannot be guaranteed. For retrofit projects, contact our technical team for guidance.
Grade 304 is suitable for most inland UK locations.
Grade 316 is recommended for coastal or highly corrosive environments.
If you're unsure, we can advise based on your building location and exposure conditions.
They can remain installed, but we generally recommend removing them when not in use to reduce weathering, prevent misuse, and extend lifespan. Where permanent installation is required, regular inspection in line with BS 7883:2019 is essential.
DavitPro Arms require minimal maintenance. Annual inspection in accordance with BS 7883:2019 should confirm structural integrity, smooth operation of moving parts, and legible identification markings. Any damaged component must be replaced.
DavitPro Arms are certified for personnel access applications. They are not rated for material lifting unless specifically engineered and certified for that purpose. If lifting capability is required, a bespoke compliant system can be designed.
